With this Privacy Policy, Joy Taxi Ltd. respects the privacy of the individual and makes efforts to protect against the unlawful processing of the personal data of natural persons. 3. Principles of personal data processing

Lawfulness, fairness and transparency – data is processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner. Purpose limitation – data is collected for specified purposes only. Data minimisation – we process the minimum data necessary. Accuracy – we keep data accurate and up to date. Storage limitation and integrity and confidentiality are guaranteed with an appropriate level of security.

4. Purposes and grounds for processing

Using the services provided by Joy Taxi Ltd. – including transport services, taxi orders, car rental and others – requires enabling contact with you and therefore the collection and processing of personal data.

Ordering a taxi by phone

When you order a taxi by phone we ask for a contact number and a pick-up address. For accountability and to make your trips comfortable, we record the route and destination. Calls may be recorded to improve service; order recordings are kept for a maximum of 3 months and then automatically deleted. To request deletion, write to office@joytaxi.bg.

Using the website

When you visit our website we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns in a way that does not identify anyone. Our website may contain links to other websites; once you leave our website we are not responsible for the protection and privacy of any information you provide there.

Newsletters and marketing

We send newsletters with promotions and special offers only on the basis of your explicit prior consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the “Unsubscribe” link or by contacting us. For remarketing we may use services of Google Inc. and Facebook Inc. and other social networks on the basis of your consent or our legitimate interest.

5. What personal data is collected

We process data of clients, client representatives and other persons who contact the company. This includes communication data, client data (name, address, billing and delivery address, email, phone), usage data, technical data (IP address, login data, browser details) and marketing data. We do not collect any sensitive (confidential) data about you.

6. How long do we store personal data?

Joy Taxi Ltd. stores your personal data for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. In some cases a longer retention period may be required or permitted by law, or in order to pursue our legitimate business interests, comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements or resolve disputes.

7. How is personal data protected?

We follow strict security procedures when storing and disclosing information, including physical safeguards, technological safeguards (antivirus and endpoint protection, system monitoring) and organisational safeguards (staff training). Data you provide is protected by SSL technology.

8. Disclosure of personal data to third parties

We will not share or distribute your data for marketing or other purposes to third parties. Data is provided only to our trusted partners (technical service, web design and IT support providers, courier services) who meet the highest information security standards. We will never sell your information.

The company has the right to update, amend and supplement this privacy policy at any time in the future when circumstances require it.
